Mabul Island is internationally renowned as one of the world's best macro diving destinations. Its shallow reefs and sandy seabed are home to an amazing variety of unique marine life, including frogfish, nudibranchs, pipefish, blue-ringed octopus, cuttlefish, and seahorses. Beyond diving, Mabul also features beautiful beaches, local island communities, and stunning views of the Celebes Sea.
Just a short boat ride away, Kapalai is a breathtaking sandbank built over a shallow reef, offering crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral gardens. Although there is no natural island, Kapalai is famous for its overwater resort, exceptional snorkelling, and calm diving conditions. The shallow reefs are teeming with colourful tropical fish, sea turtles, stingrays, and a wide variety of fascinating macro marine species.

Terms & Conditions
Reservation and Payment:
- To confirm your reservation, kindly make a 50% deposit of the total charges.
- The balance must be paid two (2) weeks prior to your arrival.
- All deposits are non-refundable.
Changes and Cancellations:
- For Sipadan trips, permits must be issued at least 7 days before the date, and no changes or rescheduling are allowed once the slot is confirmed.
- Date changes for activities are allowed at least 1 month before the arrival date, subject to availability.
Payment Details:
- All cheques should be crossed and made payable to Borneo Jungle River Island Tours Sdn Bhd.
- When making online transfers, include the booking number in the REFERENCE or PAYMENT DETAILS.
- Share your payslip/receipt once the payment is completed.
Liability:
- Our company is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury during transfer/accommodation beyond our control.
- The company reserves the right to make necessary changes beyond its control.
Kitchen Rules:
- Our kitchen strictly follows a NO PORK policy.
- Inform us in advance of any food allergies or special diets (vegetarian). Please remind us again upon arrival.
Activity Inclusions and Exclusions:
- Prices include Jetty fee, Marine Park fee, Guide fee, Equipment for snorkeling or diving, and Lunch for activities.
- Prices exclude airport transfer, accommodation, Sidemount equipment, Long Fins for Free diving, Photo services, Dive computer, personal necessities such as medicine, and insurance.
Jetty Assembly Schedule:
- Sipadan Route: Before 8 am.
- Mabul Route: 8 am - 8.20 am.
- Mataking Route: 8.15 am - 8.30 am.
- TSMP Route: 8.15 am - 8.30 am
Note:
- All trips and activities are contingent on weather conditions and permit availability at the time of booking.
Payment & Cancellation
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the activity date are eligible for a full refund, excluding any applicable processing fees.
Cancellations made 7 to 14 days before the activity date are eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the activity date are non-refundable.
No-shows, late arrivals, or unused dives/snorkelling sessions are non-refundable.
Requests to change the activity date are subject to availability and management approval.
If the trip is cancelled by Uncle Chang due to adverse weather, unsafe sea conditions, government restrictions, or unforeseen operational circumstances, guests may choose to reschedule their trip or receive a full refund.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days using the original payment method where possible.
